What a bill credit is
With a credit you pay for our work: we check every bill and the payee account before you see it. You then transfer the bill itself directly to the payee – that money never passes through us.

Scan the GiroCode
Once you have taken on the bill, you will see the payee, IBAN, amount and payment reference – as a GiroCode for your banking app.
Payee verification
You transfer the money yourself from your own banking. Your bank also checks whether the name and IBAN match (payee verification).
Deadline
You have 7 days for the transfer and the proof. That way, no one waits in vain.

Why credits cost something
So that only real bills from real people go online and your money doesn't end up with scammers, every bill involves manual work. That is exactly what you pay for with a credit – not the bill itself.
Every bill is checked
We check that the bill is genuine: document, amount, due date and payment reference – and that the recipient really exists.
The payee account is checked
The IBAN must demonstrably belong to the recipient – if necessary, we ask them to confirm. That way your money doesn't end up in the wrong account.
The person is checked
People asking for help identify themselves with an official ID. Made-up names and duplicate accounts are caught during the check.

A screenshot or PDF of the transfer is enough. Only our review team and you can see it.
Receipts
For every confirmed payment, you receive a payment confirmation, and for every package purchase on the website, an invoice. You will find everything under “Receipts” in your area.
Thank-you messages
The person seeking help can write you a thank-you message. You will see it with the bill you paid.
The payment to the payee is a voluntary gift to the person seeking help. It will not be refunded. Large gifts may be relevant for gift tax purposes. We do not issue donation receipts.
