Information on the right of withdrawal
Applies to consumers who buy a credit package on our website. For purchases in the apps, the rules of Apple or Google apply. The German version is authoritative.
Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the contract was concluded.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (MechtaNet UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Wuhlestraße 7a , 12683 Berlin, email: [email protected]) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the model withdrawal form below for this purpose, but it is not mandatory.
You can also exercise your right of withdrawal online using the “Withdraw from contract” button at the bottom of every page. If you use this function, we will immediately send you a confirmation of receipt by email, showing the content of your statement and the date and time of its receipt.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send the communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Consequences of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we must reimburse all payments we have received from you without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we received the notification of your withdrawal. For this reimbursement we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no event will you be charged any fees because of this reimbursement.
If you have requested that the service begin during the withdrawal period, you must pay us a reasonable amount corresponding to the proportion of the services already provided up to the point at which you inform us of the exercise of the right of withdrawal, compared with the full scope of the services provided for in the contract.
Premature expiry
The right of withdrawal expires when we have fully performed the service – that is, all credits of the package have been redeemed – and you have previously expressly agreed that we begin before the withdrawal period expires and have confirmed that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal (§ 356(4) BGB (German Civil Code)). For credits already redeemed, you owe compensation for their value upon withdrawal; unused credits we refund.
